What will you do with us?

As a Product Coordinator, every day is different. You work closely with your colleagues in production & design and handle various tasks, such as; 

  • Responsible for the entire production process and the primary point of contact for manufacturers
  • Responsible for the development, ordering, and receipt of samples, and for communicating effectively with suppliers
  • Responsible for approving style sheets 
  • Measuring and commenting on samples and improving them for production 
  • Preparing the collection costing sheet 
  • Planning, monitoring delivery times, and tracking set deadlines for the sample process and bulk production 
  • Managing quality inspections in the country of production and final production inspections in the Netherlands, and communicating production comments to suppliers 
  • Negotiating with suppliers on quality standards, delivery times, prices, and delivery terms 
  • Organizing and following up on fitting and drop-style meetings. 
  • Ordering and coordinating the trimmings for ongoing orders. 
  • You will also be involved in sourcing new product developments and suppliers.

Who are you?

  • You have a higher professional education level of working and thinking and a completed textile education. 
  • Preferably, you have two years of relevant work experience in production, product development, and negotiating with manufacturers. 
  • A network of manufacturers is a definite plus. 
  • You have knowledge of size specifications, worksheets, and improving fit (pattern-making knowledge). 
  • You can create technical drawings in Illustrator. 
  • You have a passion for fashion, are creative, and have a commercial mindset. 
  • You are highly organized, communicative, quick to adapt, critical, and able to maintain a clear overview. 
  • Good command of Illustrator (technical drawing) and MS Office. 
  • Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written. 
  • Holder of a category B driving licence.
