Viscose (Blend)

TIPS FOR USE

Viscose, also known as rayon, is a man-made fiber made from natural raw materials such as wood pulp. The result is a soft, smooth fabric that feels and looks very similar to natural fibers such as cotton. Viscose is often used in blends with other materials, such as cotton or polyester, to enhance the fabric's properties. This blend provides a comfortable feel, good moisture absorption, and breathability. Garments made from viscose blends are popular for their versatility and comfort, making them suitable for both casual and formal occasions.

DO'S & DON'TS

  • Preferably hand-wash or use a gentle cycle in the washing machine. Use cold water to prevent shrinkage.
  • Air-drying is ideal for viscose. Lay the garment flat to maintain its shape and minimize shrinkage.
  • If ironing is necessary, set the iron to a low temperature and use a cloth to prevent damage to the fibers.
  • Avoid high water temperatures and hot dryers, as viscose can shrink and become damaged when exposed to heat.
  • Do not leave viscose garments in direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause the color to fade.
  • Avoid excessively wringing wet viscose, as this can damage the fibers.
  • Avoid harsh bleach; use mild detergents to protect viscose fibers.
